This is a picture of me and my Mom, just after I was adopted. I was born in NYC and placed in foster care until my (single) mom, Claire, adopted me.		 Kitty Kavey
I eventually grew into a teenager, got into lots of trouble, and left home at age 16. I got into even more trouble, and when I was 20, I was involved in a motorcycle accident, which left me disabled and partially sighted.
Over the years (and numerous surgeries later) I have recovered some of my vision, and had much of my face rebuilt to look as normal as possible. Having sustained permanent brain injury, and having other residual effects, (as well as a heart condition-with cardiac arrest twice!) I decided not to let a minor thing like that stop me from becoming a webmaster, a model and actress. I then moved on to directing, producing and screenwriting, while also doing talent management and script coverage.

I've got all the bionic parts: Gore-Tex/plastic, bone cement, screws, pins and other stuff holding me together, but so far haven't developed the super powers to go with it. Hey, I'm still waiting for that!

There have been many people along the way who are able to see my Abilities, and who don't focus on my Disabilities. Thank you!
